The 2023 gubernatorial election in Abia State has been concluded following the announcement of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at Umuahia collation center.
Going by the results so far, the Labour Party governorship candidate, Dr. Alex Otti is leading with over twenty thousand votes against the State ruling party candidate, Okey Ahiwe of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The frontrunners in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Abia are: Sir Okey Ahiwe of PDP; Dr. Alex Otti of LP; Chief Ikechi Emenike of APC and Engineer Enyinnaya Nwafor of YPP.
