The result was announced by INEC’s collation officer for the governorship election in Kano, Ahmad Doko after a two-hour break with fears that the election may be declared inconclusive.
Following declaration of the Abba Yusuf as the governor-elect, the outgoing governor, Abdullahi Ganduje imposed a dawn to dusk curfew on the state on Monday.
Despite the curfew, supporters of the NNPP took to the street to celebrate the victory for the candidate, Abba Yusuf, the celebration however, turns chaos after the supporters of the APC invaded the celebration ground and fight broke out.
