An Islamic Cleric has called on the Kano government to demolished houses built by the Igbo people in some areas of the state to erect a “Gigantic Mosque.”
The cleric stated this in a now viral video shared on twitter by @774_ngr – which has garnered lots of reactions online.
According to the cleric, Igbo people should go back to their region as they don’t belong in the North.
He queried why the state government allowed them takeover an area, which he pointed out is very close to the Airport, building mansion, beautiful edifice and fence it up with gate.
The cleric said it’s time the state government do the needful by demolishing houses belonging to the Igbo and build a Mosque, a preaching which he received an applause from his listeners.
He said; “Go to Onitsha, Enugu, Aba, you can’t see an Hausa or Fulani man building such edifice, here, they dominated everything even in the business.
“They dominated the spare parts business, controlling the prices, selling it to us as if where are fighting,” the cleric said.
