Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president of Nigeria, has vowed that his party, the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, will, by the grace of God, win Abia State in the tomorrow’s election Guber election.
Osinbajo stated this in a town hall meeting held in Aba. The meeting was aimed at addressing the SMEs in Abia State.
Speaking during the meeting, which was attended by Small business owners and headed by APC state stakeholders, including the party’s governorship candidate, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampason Ogah, Osinbajo said Abia is an important state to APC, vowing that the state will be reclaimed by the party.
“Abia made a significant and surprise move in the last election by giving President Muhammadu Buhari over 25% votes, therefore, this state have shown that it’s ready to become an APC state.
“This state is so much important to APC and by the grace of God, come this Saturday, (March 9th) we shall make a statement. APC will reclaim the state from the state ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, led by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu”, Osinbajo said.

Meanwhile, the state incumbent governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu have called on the people of Abia State to vote for him come Saturday election.
Ikpeazu is seeking for re-election. In the video, Ikpeazu stated that he is seeking for a second term in office to complete projects and vision he have for the state.
Also, in the video obtained by ABACITYBLOG, the governor reeled out his achievements and promised to do more if re-elected.
