The Senator-elect for Abia North Senatorial district, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has showed off his 4,969 hectare of farm in Abia State.
The Abia State former governor who shared the pictures of the farm on his social media account, revealed that he started the farm in 1998, adding that he dedicated half of it to Cassava farm.
He wrote; “A visit to my farm after the day’s campaign, a 4,969 hectare owned by me since1998 with over 2,500 hectares dedicated to Cassava planting. Our last harvest crashed the price from N1800 to N850 per-ton. Our 2017 oilpalm is also ready for harvest & we’ve planted more.”
