On April, 25th 2021, a Nigerian artist, “VICTOR EBUKA ANTHONY” popularly known as “VICTONY” was involved in a ghastly motor accident.
The accident claimed the life of one person with three others severely injured.
They were rushed to a hospital in Lagos where he had an emergency surgery as he suffered fractures to his legs amongst others.
Surgery was successful and he was admitted into the ICU.
Nigerians trended #PrayForVictony and many contributed via go fund me set up for him.
Victony got well and was discharged but he was still using a wheel chair as he continued with his physiotherapy.
He started attending shows and dropping singles from his wheel chair and boy, VICTONY is talented and what he does with his voice, mind blowing!!!
For four months, Victony performed from his wheel chair but early this morning during “A Decade Of Davido Concert”, he was to perform hit single “Holy Father” with Mayorkun.
He said and I quote, “For the first time, I want to perform Holy Father properly, okay? On my feet!!!”
Davido, paid for some of his hospital bills fell to his knees, shouting “JESUS IS GOOD!!!” as he helped him stand.
He stood with his hand over Davido’s shoulders as he sang, “Holy Father” with Davido and Mayorkun
Davido kept shouting “JESUS IS GOOD!!!”
It was like a gospel crusade where a miracle just took place and I hade goosebumps all over my body.
VICTONY was victorious.
DAVIDO is a good human being.
NIGERIAN DOCTORS are good at their job.
