Residents of Ibere Road off Ohazu Road, in Ndiegoro axis, precisely those living in the area where the construction of the road was suspended a few years back have sent an (SOS) message to the Abia State governor.
ABACITYBLOG reported that parts of the road have been in a deplorable condition since construction of the road got suspended.
“We are suffering and we plead with the governor to save us before we perish”, a resident told our reporter.
Although, the governor has announced that work will soon commence on Ngwa Road, but Ibere residents have appealed to the governor to finish the Ibere street since it got its extension from Ngwa Road linking Obohia/Ohanku roads.
Picture below showed where the construction of the road ends.
The reconstruction of the road was flagged off by the Abia State Government under the Ministry of works. Handled by DelHope Resources Limited.
