January 8, 2020
in #AbiaDecides, Aba News

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had directed the 2019 APGA Governorship Candidate, Abia State, Chief Alex Otti, to Congratulate his kinsman, Governor Okezie ikpeazu on his recent Supreme Court Victory on 8/1/2020.

This is even as the group urged Mr. Otti to to support the Governor as a prompt response to respect the verdict of Abians, and the validation of the Apex Court, Supreme Court’s Judgement, that Governor Okezie ikpeazu remained the rightful Winner of the Abia State 2019 Gubernatorial election.

According to the group, such gesture will portray him (Alex Otti) as a patriot, Statesman, Politician without bitterness and A good Son Of Igboland, Urging Governor Okezie ikpeazu to accept and Work with Otti immediately He extend his hands of Sportsmanship to Him.

In a statement signed by the group president general, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, OYC described the Supreme Court’s Judgement on Abia State 2019 Governorship election which upholds the Dr Okezie ikpeazu as the rightful Winner of 2019 Abia Governorship election as ” No Victor, No Vanquished” because the wasted resources lavished in the litigation process would have been channelled to many meaningful Projects that Abians will benefit.

The group however, said, “the time that was used to distract Ikpeazu from the Abia State Petition Tribunal,to Appeal Court to Supreme Court had shortened the Democratic dividends which had been lost in the process of litigation.

“but We still respect the fact that Alex Otti’s exercised his constitutional rights to the fullest, it’s time for him to retraced his steps and Work With Governor Okezie ikpeazu, who is his kinsman for the greater benefits of Abians.

“We will recommend Chief Alex Otti to President Muhammadu Buhari for Board Appointment immediately We see his Congratulatory Message to Governor Okezie ikpeazu, as it will be a motivational force that will make Igbo Youths to Pressurize the Presidency to consider him in any ambassadorial position or other Board Appointment starting from April 2020, Until then, Igbo Youths Congratulate Governor Okezie ikpeazu on his Supreme Court’s Victory,he has the time to actualize Igbo project” Enyimba Economic City Nigeria’s Dubai” as igbos are solidly Behind him”, the statement added.
