in Aba News

Coalition of Igbo groups namely World Igbo Youth Congress, South East Women Professionals and Igbo Students Union had Urge Former President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo,Nnia Nwodo to resist any temptation of Parading himself as President General Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

The groups alleged that Ndwodo’s Ohanaeze is an Unregistered and illegal Organisation.

“The plot to arrest him (Nwodo) looms if he goes Contrary to the law of Nigeria and issue any Media Statement as President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo,” parts of the statement reads.

The Igbo group further revealed that there’s a trap set for him (Nwodo) if he continues to impersonate with his Unregistered Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

The full statement read… “Coalition had Confirmed that the Igbo Governors had abandoned Nwodo, even the Igbo political leaders had deserted him.

“We can authoritatively say that Nwodo had embarked on a secret mission to beg for soft landing but was surprised and shocked that Igbo leaders had abandoned him, as they had already informed Nwodo that a New President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo from Enugu State will be named before 23rd May 2020 as his replacement.

“In a Joint Statement signed by Mazi Alex Okemiri(President World igbo Youth Congress),Dr Helen Ogbonnaya(Leader, Southeast Women Professionals)and Comrade Chidi Ugwunjo(President, Igbo Students Union) urged Mazi Nwodo to quietly retire to ukehe Nsukka, his country home and continue his private life.

“In a related development, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had alerted igbo Governors of the  dangers and grave threats that associate with  the Continued influx of Almajiris from the North.

“OYC described it as a dangerous signal that Boko Haram terrorists had eventually invaded Igbo land and We don’t pray that igbo land will witness any bomb blast after 50 years of sad experiences during the Biafra War.

“We wish to inform all Almajiris that street begging in igboland had elapsed as the Ultimatum given to all Almajiris to vacate igbo land Expires, there will be no mercy, this is  Contained in a Press statement released by Comrade Obinna Achionye deputy President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide,

“We will Hold The leadership of Myietti Allah Cattle Breeders Association responsible for any eventuality or any Civil disobedience and disturbances in igboland as we Uncovers that the organisation was behind the mass Movement of Almajiris to Southeast,” the group concluded.
