In addition to the numerous ongoing road projects in various parts of Abia North Senatorial district, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has announced the facilitation of additional eleven road projects to Arochukwu local government area of Abia State.
The Senate Chief Whip said he was fulfilled by touching lives with road and other infrastructure, saying: “This is to keep the hope of the people alive by working assiduously to deliver on my promises to my constituents.”
He made the announcement on Thursday evening in a chat with journalists at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
According to the former governor of Abia state: “We are determined to facilitate people-oriented projects in our local governments in the areas of health, education and other required infrastructure.”
Some of the road projects said to have been facilitated in the 2022 budget in Arochukwu local government area include the Ndi Inyi Abam road,
Atani road Aro town, Isu rural road, Agunwanyi road, Umuchiakuma Ihechiowa, Ndiagwu Abam road, Ozu Abam township road, Catholic Church road at Ututu, Umuzomgbo Ihechiowa road (Eze Linus Mba road),
Others are the Ututu Township road, Umuzomgbo Ihechiowa road, Ndi Inyang Abam road, renovation of one classroom block, Iyaa Abam, one classroom block at Ututu and renovation of Agerry Memorial Primary School, Aro Town.
