Ned Okonkwo, African Real Estate Mogul and founder of Victoria Crest Homes has revealed the reason he has not yet invested in the Southeast region.
Okonkwo who hails from Ojoto in Idemili South LGA, Anambra State – hinted on insecurity as one of the reasons it will be difficult for investors to bring their investment down to East.
The philanthropist who recently celebrated his 44 birthday – said if Southeast is secured, he won’t hesitate to bring his investment home.
Replying to a comment made by one of his Instagram followers, Ned said he is very sure that none of his expatriate will ever want to live in an insecure environment.
The commenter wrote; No place like home, bring some development down to the east, Onitsha, Enugu, Owerri, etc (sic)
Responding, Ned said; “Give me Security …First None of my Expatriate will ever want to stay in an Unsafe environment”.(sic)
Okonkwo who has many Estates in Lagos, had during his birth celebration unveiled another Estate he is working on in Lagos, the groundbreaking was graced by King Saheed Ademola Elegushi -KUSENLA (III) Oba of Ikate Elegushi and Environs.
Other Dignitaries who graced the event are, Nightlife Mogul, Obinna Iyiegbu aka “Obi Cubana” the CEO of Cubana Group, Celebrity Bar Man, Cubana Chief priest, Special adviser to Lagos State Governor on Housing – Hon. Toke Benson, etc.

Igbo-Ezue Carnival 2022
In another post, Okonkwo said despite the insecurities bedevilling the Igbo land, the Unity of the entire Southeastern Nigeria is incontestable.
Okonkwo stated this while unveiling the – IGBO-EZUE Carnival 2022″… A carnival projects to showcase the rich culture of the Igbo people.
According to the Real Estate Mogul, the 2022 Igbo-Ezue Carnival – Theme; “Aku Lue Uno” (Aku Ruo Ulo) – which is scheduled to hold on 5th January, 2022 – will climax with a world class star-studded concert featuring the BESTS in the entertainment industry.
“We must unite in our resolve to develop a future for Our people by developing a world-class city cum business hub, to continually oil the fabric of development to be a catalyst for the growth and investment in all sectors; from commerce, industry, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, technology and finance; needed to stimulate an economy built by the easterners for the easterners and all Nigerians,” says Okonkwo.
He added that “This can only work if we (Igbos) have a safe and secured South Eastern Nigeria.
He further revealed that other personalities behind the Igbo Ezue Carnival are; Mr. Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana) and Mr. Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money).
