Aba, the commercial city of Abia State witnessed 80 percent compliance following the state government directives for the residents to stay at home to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.

The State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, had on Monday, reiterated his initial order of locking down the state for one week in a bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

ABACITYBLOG reported that major cities in the South East including Aba, Onitsha, Enugu, Awka, Abakiliki, Owerri, Umuahia and Nnewi will experience lockdown from Wednesday following series of announcement coming out from the states.
