The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic party for Aba North and South Federal Constituency RT Hon Uzo Azubuike has lambasted the opponent, Mr. Ossy Prestige of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA over its supporters protest yesterday in Aba.
ABACITYBLOG reports that the protesters who besieged some streets in Aba, paraded a banner and placaards with inscription that Prestige won the election with over 5000 votes against his opponents.
One of the protesters told our reporter that INEC refusal to announce the result of the elections that was successfully conducted by them in their federal constituency may cause violence in the zone.
Reacting to the APGA members protest, Uzo Azubuike, Candidate of the PDP for Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the just concluded election, described the protest by the APGA as a display of touts.
This is even as he urged his Supporters and the People of ABA North and South to remain calm and follow the laid down Procedures to emerge Victorious in the Election.
Speaking in a Meeting held on Friday 1st March 2019 at the ABA Town Hall which had in attendance Dr N.C.N.C Okoli the Caretaker Committee Chairman of ABA South, Barr Charles Esonu Transition Chairman of ABA North, Hon Emmanuel Clinton the Honourable Member Representing ABA South State Constituency, Hon Chizuru Kalu the Commissioner for Petroleum in Abia State among others, the Party Leaders vowed to Defend the Vote of the People for Uzo Azubuike and other PDP Candidates.
Uzo Azubuike who addressed Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party said the Party cannot behave like touts as Demonstrated by Members of APGA Yesterday.
