The former governor of Abia State and Abia APC senatorial candidate for Abia North, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has unveiled what he’s going to the senate means to the Abia North, Igbo and Nigeria in general.

Dr. Kalu, who addressed some journalist in his Igbere country home, said APC will win in Abia North with an 85% margin, according to him, the land is fertile for APC.

Speaking on what he has to offer if elected as a senator in the forthcoming election, Dr. Kalu said, he has a laid down plans for the people of Abia North, Igbos and Nigeria.

He said his plans is based on four pillars, which are; Agriculture, Education, Commerce and Infrastructure, with this, there will a job for the youths.

“We are going to revolutionise agriculture in Abia North, with my palm plantation plan in all five local governments in Abia North, I will put the zone on the map as one of the largest palm oil producing region.

“Ndigbo has a lot to benefit, as a strong voice, I’m going to add value and bring home the dividend of democracy the Igbos deserve. Although, I’m not going to be a senator for just Abia North or Ndigbo but a listening Nigerian senator.

“I’m not going to be a fighting senator, but a senator that will help President Muhammadu Buhari to create a policy that will benefit the youth.

“When I get to the senate, all states in the South East/South-South will queue into the palm plantation, they will be a major palm plantation area, I will also help most of the states in the North to start a plantation of Soya bean and gum Arabic plantation.

“We are going to put a policy where agriculture and job creation will be my major focus in the senate, Dr. Kalu said.

Speaking on the chances of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and President Muhammadu Buhari to win in Abia North, the Igbere born businessman said, APC will win with an 85% margin.

“APC will win in Abia North with an 85% margin, the land is fertile and we have done all the necessary things for soft landing. unlike previous election, were PDP rigging machine upturned an election won by us.

“This time, it’s going to be a level playing ground for both parties, they will not have the chance to rig, APC will sweep Abia North and President Buhari will win with wide margin.

Dr. Kalu who frowned on the latest reports that Ohanaeze Ndigbo has endorsed Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, said the move was wrong.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo, as a pro-cultural organisation should have abstained from politics of endorsement, they should be a neutral body who only supports any candidate that wins the election.

“Endorsing any candidates is a huge mistake, I didn’t ask them to endorse President Muhammadu Buhari, all I’m saying is they shouldn’t have endorsed any candidate but support anyone that wins, Dr. Kalu concluded.
