The empowerment came barely 24hrs after he stormed Aba, the commercial city of Abia State for the requiem mass of the late CEO of Tonimas Oil, Chief Anthony E. Speaking during the distribution of the empowerment, Kalu, a former Abia State governor said he has “forgiven everyone that had hand in his incarceration”.
According to him, “Several good leaders also passed through what he passed through. Quoting People like the former Old Imo State governor, Sam Mbakwe; Senator Kalu noted, “despite all his (Mbakwe’s) wonderful leadership, he was still incarcerated. “So I am not an exception”, he noted.
Taken to his social media account, Senator Kalu further revealed the empowerment distributed is the first phase noting that second will be coming up soon.
“After joint consultations,Motorbikes, Power Generators, were among other items which I distributed to my constituents in Umunneochi LGA. This gesture is in response to their demands for items to support their SME,s and mobility for their farming activities.
“Let also note this exercise will be carried out in batches, specifically to other constituents that did not benefit , plans have also been concluded to rebuild the Aro Ikpa road in the next few months.
“I encourage the beneficiaries to make good judicious use of the items.
