The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu today met the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the former Deputy Senate President, and Senator Representing Enugu West, Senator Ike Ekweremadu at the celebration of life ceremony of Pa Benedict Obieze Onyibo held at Ezeagu,Enugu State.
Senator Kalu was in Enugu to attend the funeral ceremony of Late Igwe (SIR) DR. Chris E. Ogakwu (95) JP. MON Okwuluoha III of UDI Kingdom held today at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral Church, Udi, Enugu State.
The funeral mass was presided over by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Valentine Onaga.
The former Abia State Governor was accompanied with by his brother, Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu (Nwa-Aba), House of Rep. Spokesman, Hon. Benjamin Kalu and other Dignitaries
