Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had described the recent Media Publication of Presidency through Garba Shehu, the Presidential Spokesman, where he alleged that Ipob Spents Over 85,000 USD per Month to wage War against Nigeria and destroy the existing relationship between Nigeria and USA and UK Governments, as mismanagement of information which had sparked Uproarious criticisms, Protests and Uprisings in the South East

OYC in a statement signed by its President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said it observed that barely 12hours after Presidential Spokesman Made the allegations of Ipob’s Persuasive roles for the Appointment of US Special Envoy for investigation and inquiry into the killings of Christians in Nigeria, as tensions are brewing up in the South East, and if its not handled very well, there might be American version of Violence and Protests in Nigeria”, the group said.

Read the press statement below…

“OYC demand for immediate action to prevent break down of law and order and put Igbo land on flames amidst Coronavirus Pandemic rising index cases in Nigeria.

“Nigerians had seen several videos and reported cases where Christians were Unjustly and brutally beheaded and Murdered including in the Army by Boko Haram terrorists and Muslim Armed gangs led by killer Herdsmen.

“There are Opportunities that play out in every Crisis, irrespective that its the Responsibilities of Every Governments all over the World to Protect lives and properties of her citizens no matter the religion or Tribe, there’s always a Chance to utilize peaceful approach and dialogue to resolve internal conflicts.

“OYC insists that Federal Government should directly or through Intermediaries dialogue with Igbo leaders and ipob and reach a truce and Agreements either in Nigeria or elsewhere rather than Using Armed Security Forces against Unarmed civilians protesting against allegations that sparked out Demonstrations which will attract International sympathy towards ipob if there’ll further killings of Protesters.

“We appeal to all Biafran agitators to rescind further Protests to avert disaster of Confrontation with the Military, Since their legitimate efforts to ensure that their grievances for prompt action from USA Government to Establish a Special Envoy to Nigeria had been acknowledged.
