Ohafia stands still as ABN TV boss’ parents mark 50th marriage anniversary

The ancient city of Ebem Ohafia in Ohafia local government area of Abia State is currently at standstill as Mr. & Mrs. Okali Kalu Ubaka mark the 50th anniversary of their marriage.

The celebrants, parents of Mr. Ifeanyi Okali, the Director ABN TV have in the past fifty years remained strongly united in love as couples.

The event scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 will hold at their country home in Ebem Ohafia.

Our correspondent gathered that the community has adorn a new look with security surveillance mounted at strategic locations in readiness to play host to eminent dignitaries expected to grace the occasion.

Mr. Ubaka Okali, a retired police officer is a respected community leader in Ohafia.

In a recent chat with ABN TV, Chief Whip of the Senate, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu who will be the Special Guest of Honour said golden jubilee anniversary in the life of any union, business or anything is a remarkable milestone.

He used the opportunity to call on all and sundry to use the occasion as a point of contact for a lasting opportunity in life.

Notable political leaders, business tycoons, traditional and religious leaders as well as top media executives are expected to grace the occasion.

Guests will be thrilled with cultural dances, Ohafia war dance, couples games and many more.
