The Chairman of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana and his brother Ike Iyiegbu yesterday paid a visit to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti
The renowned business tycoon and investor who visited the governor at his residence in Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA, Abia State, made a promise to set up an industry in Aba, the commercial city of the State.
Governor Otti who updated the visit via his official Facebook page, said Obi Cubana had emphasized that he does not visit Governors, however, he had to visit given our pedigree.
“He said the positive things we have started doing have made a lot of people want to come back and invest here.”
“He promised to set up a major part of his business in Aba as he is already in the process of acquiring land to build industries that will employ people in God’s Own State,” Governor Otti revealed.
AbaCityBlog reports that Governor Otti has awarded reconstruction of major streets, roads in Aba ever since he was sworn in as Abia State governor. He started off by declaring a state of emergency on refuse which literally took over Aba prior to his swearing in.
The governor has received other potential investors in the State, whom, according to him have indicated interest to set up their business in Abia.
