Prince Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian politician and billionaire businessman, who is married to Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has revealed why the Labour Party flagbearer, Peter Obi cannot emerge as Nigeria’s president come 2023.
In an interview with BBC, Ned Nwoko described Peter Obi as a good man and an economic strategist who has the capacity to play a significant role in the government.
He added that although he has the massive support of the youths, he wouldn’t be able to achieve victory because Labour Party does not have the required structure to rule Nigeria.
He said Peter Obi shouldn’t have exited the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and still wishes Peter Obi could come back to the party. Ned who described Obi as a capitalist said he will do well if any ministry pertaining to economy is handed over to him.
Speaking further, he affirmed that the population of Nigeria is on the rise and the Labour Party is incapable of handling the issues of the country.
The lawyer also praised his party for making their primary election a transparent one and claimed Atiku Abubakar is one of the most experienced men to rule Nigeria.
Ultimately, he called on Nigerians not to let tribe or religion influence their choice of candidates rather they should be concerned about picking the right person to fix the country.
