VIDEO: Lady Gives Situation Reports In Obigbo Rivers State

November 2, 2020
in #OffBeat, ABACITY TV

Viral interview video has showed a lady narrating the current situation reports of Obigbo, Rivers State.

The reports came on the heels of numerous reports of how the Nigerian Military officers are killing unarmed civilians in the guise of fishing out members of IPOB in the state.

The order was followed the aftermath of clash between the army and IPOB on 21/10/2020. An event which followed the #EndSARS protest.

According to reports, a clash ensued between the proscribed IPOB group and the army. The clash according to reports claimed lives of the 6 army officers and 4 IPOB members.

Reacting, the army had launched a manhunt on the IPOB members in the state but reports have it that the army are using the means molesting and killing innocent citizens who are not members of IPOB.

To bring calmness to the Obigbo and its environs, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike imposed a dusktodawn curfew in the zone but the curfew is doing more harm than good.

“Since 4 days now I have not taken my bath. We don’t have water and we can’t buy fuel to pump water,” the lady told the interviewer.

According to her, tomorrow, Tuesday will make it 10 days since the curfew was declared.
