The former News Media aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted to the increased rate of suicide in the country.
ABACITYBLOG MEDIA recall the incident that has happened recently, where Michael Arowosaiye, a music minister who served as a worship leader in a church took his own life as a result of financial issues and the inability to pay his house rent.
Reacting to the suicidal crises, Omkiri took to his twitter handle to call on the president to set up a suicide response team.
He wrote:
“Dear President @MBuhari, SUICIDE is at epidemic levels.
“I urge you to set up a National Suicide Prevention Team. Ban sales of SNIPER and similar substances.
“But most importantly, address the nation and give hope to the hopeless. God bless you.”
