Nigerian controversial music artist, Eedris Abdulkareem has opined that the Military would have invaded and burnt down peoples houses if the attacked Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Headquarters were to be located in one of the Southeastern States.
Abacityblog reported that terrorists attacked the NDA Headquarters located in Afaka, Kaduna State on Tuesday, August 24th, 2021. The attack which was confirmed by the Academy Public Relations Officer, Major Bashir Jajira, said an officer was abducted by the bandits, while two personnel were killed during the attack.
The Defence Academy reacting in a statement said the security architecture of the NDA was compromised by the unknown gunmen who gained access into the residential area within the Academy.
According to the statement signed by the Academy Public Relations Officer, Major Bashir Jajira, “The Academy in collaboration with the 1Division Nigerian Army and Air Training Command as well as other security agencies in Kaduna state has since commenced pursuit of the unknown gunmen within the general area with a view to tracking them and rescuing the abducted personnel.
Reacting over the statement released by the NDA, Eedris Abdulkareem said if the NDA Headquarters were to be located in one of the Southeast States and was attacked by the terrorists, by now, the Army would have invaded the nearby villages and set houses ablaze.
The artiste said this via his verified Instagram account. He wrote;
“Let’s assume NDA is located in any of the Igbo States and such attack took place. By now the Army will be burning down Igbo villages and killing Igbos.
