Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila on Monday afternoon paid an unscheduled visit to Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia state , Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in his Abuja residence.
The Speaker who arrived Kalu’s residence at exactly 2:45 PM unannounced spent nearly two hours with Kalu’s family.
It will be recalled that Kalu had last month visited South East and spent more than three weeks in his countryhome.
Kalu’s homecoming was greeted with tumultuous welcome as he triumphantly rode from Sam Mbakwe airport Owerri to the cheers of thousands of supporters and fans.
Sources say that Gbajabiamila whose relationship with Kalu dates years back visited Kalu following his successful return from his countryhome.
Meanwhile, other details of the visit as the time of publishing this report was yet to be disclosed.
