Gabonese has taken to the street in Jubilation following the news of the Military announcement, of taking over power and deposing the incumbent President Ali Bongo.
AbaCityBlog reports that President Ali Bongo who has won a third term in the last Saturday presidential election with 64.27% of the vote, has been toppled by a military junta.

The results announced by the Gabonese Election Centre (CGE), which saw Bongo seeking to extend his family’s 56-year grip on power in the oil-rich but poverty-stricken Central African nation, was met with military seized power on Wednesday.
Reuters reports that sounds of gunfire could be heard in the capital Libreville in the early hours of Wednesday.
