The duo of Mr. Ubokan Felix and Justina Nwosu, the Director of Publicity of Niger-Delta Youths, Women and Security Movement for Buhari, has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to forget the lost battle, demonstrate statesmanship, drop court charges and congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari on his well-deserved election victory for the interest of peace for the country.

The message released through the duo also congratulated President Buhari on his victory.

They said his victory at the polls clearly demonstrated the yearning of Nigerians for him to continue his good works for the country.

Ubokan who said the group was very optimistic of Buhari’s victory prior to the presidential and National Assembly elections, explained that the campaign across Niger-Delta by his group and his acceptance by the people of the region was a clear indication that Buhari was going to be victorious.

The group had in the statement called on Alhaji Abubakar to join hands with the president-elect to move the country to the next level, while he looks forward to 2023 elections instead of fighting a lost battle that the United States of America, United Kingdom and presidents of African countries had congratulated Nigeria over Buhari’s victory.

While calling on all Nigerians and other political parties to throw their support behind the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari now that the election is over, Ubokan pointed out that no country can survive or develop in the face of chaos, rancor and disunity.

Ubokan who expressed confidence that the country would experience rapid development with the re-election of President Buhari if given genuine support, appealed to all aggrieved persons to sheathe their swords and allow peace to reign.
