The new Twitter owner, Elon Musk has restored the official twitter account of Donald Trump, the former United States President.
Trump had lost access to his account after the 2020 presidential election in the USA, which he lost to President Joe Biden.
Twitter took an action on Trump’s account after it was said to have violated the company’s policy which led to his account to be disabled.
In a bid to reinstate Trump, Elon took to his official Twitter page to launch a an online poll where he asked twitter users to decide if they want Donald Trump back on twitter.
The poll conducted on twitter had “Yes or No” options with caption “Reinstate Former President Trump”. The “Yes” has 52%, while the “No” has 48%.
Sharing the news of Trump’s reinstatement, Elon Musk tweet, “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”
Musk added that about 43 million saw the poll.
