Buhari, will among other projects, commission the newly reconstructed Imo State House of Assembly Complex in Owerri, originally built by the administration of late Sam Mbakwe, former governor of old Imo State.

This is happening despite the sit-at-home order by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. The separatist group had issued the order following the court appearance of its leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

AbaCityBlog gathered that Kanu’s legal team have all arrived the Appeal Court Abuja and the outcome of today’s hearing will determine the fate of the Federal High Court in the ruling of Mazi Kanu’s case.

Kanu is facing charges bordering treason and he has been detained in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS, since he was extra-renditioned to Nigeria from Kenya in June 2021.
