Cultism: Police to Investigate Portable over formation of One Million Boys

Fast-rising singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, who bragged about being the founder of some cult groups, One Million Boys and Ajah Boys, which terrorised residents of different areas of Lagos has been invited by the Police.

The singer in a now-deleted video, said in Yoruba, “Open your ears and hear me, you’ve heard about Ajah Boys, One Million Boys, I’m their founder.”

Reacting to the video which has gone viral, the IGP ordered the Lagos State commissioner of Police to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.

Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a twitter post said the order by the IGP to the Lagos CP is inline to the force continuous effort to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in the Nigeria and their decimate their activities.

“This directive is premised on the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society”, the statement reads in part.
