A newly married lady has called out an Abuja Hotel over an alleged discrimination against her Italian husband.
Mitchelle Lannone who disclosed that she and her husband have not been to Italy in the last 6 months, said the management of Hotel Casalinda cancelled their hotel reservation after it has been paid for and finalized.
Mitchelle, added that she was shocked to receive a message from the management of the Hotel that their booking has been cancelled on grounds of her husband being “Italian”.
She revealed that they were not allowed into the facility because the the hotel were scared of them spreading Coronavirus (COVID-19). But was also left speechless when they demanded for refund and the Hotel only agreed to pay 70% insisting that 30% of their money is non-refundable.
