Burna Boy should have a whole Town named after him – Tacha defends Wike’s gift to Grammy winner

Big Brother Naija Season 4 Housemate, Tacha has defended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike’s gift to Popular afrobeat singer, Burna Boy.

Tacha in a video which has gone viral shared her view on Wike’s gift to Burna Boy.

Abacityblog.com had reported that The Rivers State Governor had yesterday gifted Burna Boy a land and money to build it.

The gift is following Burna’s winning on the just concluded Grammys Award, where the singer won the Global Album of the year award with his album title; “Twice as Tall”.

Coming back to Port Harcourt, a city where he grow up. Burna Boy was welcomed in a colourful event.

During the homecoming, Governor Wike gifted him a landed property and a sum of N10 million to build on it.

The gift has generated mixed reaction online as social media users described it as, a misplaced priority.

Reacting in a video she posted on her Twitter page, Tacha said, for winning a Grammy award, Burna Boy should have a whole town named after him.

She berated naysayers for reacting negatively. According to her, Burna’s winning should be celebrated and he deserved whatever gift he got because he won a Grammy.
