The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has accused the suspended police officer, DSP Abba Kyari of being an active member of a drug cartel.
NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi at a media conference in Abuja, the nation’s capital said Kyari had compromised while he was heading the Force Intelligence Response Team.
Babafemi added that Kyari has declined to honour several invitations by the narcotic agency.
It will be recalled that Kyari has been suspended by the police after being indicted in a report by the U.S Federal Bureau of Investigation over his involvement with convicted internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpupi.
