The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has lifted the ban on the political parties to resume campaigns.
This was contained in a statement by INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman of the commission’s Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr Festus Okoye.
The statement noted that politicians are free to campaign 24hrs to the elections, which is Thursday midnight while the election holds on Saturday, 23rd February, 2019.
