According to reports, the PDP candidate for Abia South Senatorial zone, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, took to his heel when the APC senatorial candidate, Sir Marc Wabara, and his campaign team stormed the Ariaria International Market, Aba.
Wabara was accompanied by the former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Emeka Wogu and Stanley Azuka, APC candidate for Aba North State constituency, as they stormed Ariaria. Sen. Abaribe, who obviously was at Ariaria because of Peter Obi, PDP Vice Presidential candidate’s visit, on sighting Wabara, quickly entered his car and sped off.
Addressing Ariaria traders, Wogu reminded them that it was the APC government that gave Ariaria, the Independent power plant and assured them Sir Wabara would give a transparent and effective representation to the people of Abia South.
Fled because of who? Abaribe is the man for the job. All these newbies that couldn’t speak up when their youths were slaughtered like Chickens wants to represent them? God forbid.
