Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media has revealed how thugs highjacked the All Progressive Congress, APC, primary election held today, in Kano State.
Ahmad, who is contesting for House of Representatives for Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu federal constituency, Kano State, said he was displeased with conduct of today’s primary election.
Ahmad said he had to leave the election venue because of the security of the party delegates, adding that election should be free of thugs.
He said: “As an aspirant, I left the venue of primary election for Gaya, Ajingi and Albasu Federal Constituency, because of the security of our majority delegates, if want to compete with the best, thugs shouldn’t be part of any election. A dakace mu!
Reacting, social media commentators and Bashir’s followers has dropped different opinions about what he experienced.
Jerryson Samuel wrote: “When poor Kwankwassiya followers were served with this kind of meal during gama inconclusive. You were in Villa tweeting how Buhari’s second tenure will be education, education, and education. Lying to the general public. Wallahi sai dai muce Allah shikara.
Sadiq Amar said: “You were part of the inconclusive 2019, supporting ganduje on the media. You all know Kano APC leadership doesn’t the deserve. They don’t win an election rather they used thugs to hijacked the process.
Muhd Sani Abdullahi wrote: “It’s so unfortunate but it good you experience it. During 2019 inconclusive that was anchor by your superiors, after worth the Gama scenario, you all are happy. Alhamdulillahi with this, I believe you will speak the truth. It’s so unfortunate for the government to give room for thugs. All this is an eye opener for 2023 election. The opposition have to prepare to overcome such thugs. It happen in 2019 insha Allah it won’t happen come 2023.
