Former aide to the Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has alleged that the All Progressive Congress party has attributed Tinubu’s wife’s statement as a joke.
The wife of the National Leader of All Progressive Congress, APC, Oluremi Tinubu, had made a shocking statement.
In a short viral video, the senator representing Lagos Central, told an Igbo voter that they (Yoruba) don’t trust Igbo people again.
Mrs. Tinubu can be heard as she said; “Igbos we don’t trust una again”.
Reno, took to his twitter page to give his reponse saying,
“The @OfficialAPCNg now says Senator Tinubu was joking when she said ‘we don’t trust Igbos again’. My response is that people say the truth in jest. Remi only said what she and her husband believe. The treatment meted out to the Igbo in Lagos this election cycle is proof of this.”
