A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Cletus Obon, has called for the resignation of Nigeria’s Minister of Communication and the Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
The call came following allegation on the minister of being a core supporter of Terrorists. Also, videos depicting Pantami’s support for terrorists and extremists views has surfaced online.
While Mr Pantami has apologized for his comments, asserting his teachings over the years were rooted in peace and tolerance, Mr Obon, speaking on AIT Monday morning, declared that Mr Pantami should be sacked from his position if he is unwilling to resign in light of the revelations made about him.
He said; “Pantami should resign, if he does not, you sack him! Not to give the impression that you tolerate and endure (audio distorts) to give the government a bad name.”
