African Pillar of Sports and Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Monday launched Super Eagles playmaker and Villareal Superstar, Samuel Chukwueze’s Jersey.
The former Abia State Governor, Kalu was spotted wearing the Jersey during his morning routine exercise.
It should be recall that the Chukwueze had on August 6 visited the Senate Chief Whip in his Igbere countryhome.
Also in the entourage was the CEO De Latinos Mr. Emmanuel Okenini (Bello), Barr. Vitalis Anopue, Mazi Iheanyi Inyamah (Ebony) Mr. Tony Oguejiofor, Mr Uwaoma Ogbonna and a host of others.
Chukwueze also presented his Jersey to Sen. Kalu, former Abia governor.
Kalu as a pillar of sports, he received the title, Pillar of Sports in Nigeria by sports journalists in Nigeria in 6th April, 2005 at an event held in NICON Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The former governor during his tenure pushed the Enyimba International Football Club of Aba to win the African Championship back to back, a feat the club has not attained since he left office in 2007.
