An officer of the Abia State Vigilantee Service(VGN) otherwise called Bakassi has shot a Youngman identified as Izuchukwu Mbakwe for allegedly stealing a Nokia Phone at DE Choice Fast Food, Okpara Square Umuahia.
PUO Reports that the slained Izuchukwu who hails from Okauga Nkwoegwu in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State just returned from Dubai before he was employed by the management of DE Choice Fastfood as a Staff.
It was gathered that the late Izuchukwu Mbakwe was being owed 5 Months salary by the management of DE CHOICE Fast food before his untimely death yesterday
According to eyewitness reports, troubled started when a Nokia Phone got missing at the restaurant yesterday, a check on the camera showed that the late Izuchukwu knew about how the phone got missing.
A staff of the fastfood told our correspondent on monday that Izuchukwu was dragged outside and handed over to the Bakassi officer who threatened to shoot him, which he eventually fired gunshots at his thigh, Izuchukwu gave up the ghost at the hospital after losing several blood.
Meanwhile the Bakassi personnel has been arrested by the Police while one Mr John Uba who encourage to shoot the late Izuchukwu has fled Umuahia town to an unknown destination.
