The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has dedicated his “The Sun Public Service Award 2020” to the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, his colleagues at the Abia State House of Assembly and his family.
Speaking while receiving the award on Saturday in a colourful event organised by The Sun Publishing Ltd at the Expo Centre of the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji acknowledged the Governor for providing a platform for his service to the people and for supporting him politically and otherwise.
He also described Members of the Abia State House of Assembly as very supportive saying the award was also for them for their dedication to the growth and development of Abia State through several ingenious legislative interventions.
Lauding his family for having always been there for him at all times and in all circumstances, the Abia Speaker equally dedicated the award to them and affirmed that he will continue to render selfless service to the people, as possibly as he can, according to the dictates of his conscience.
