Abia born philanthropist Sam Nwachukwu Salutes Nigeria At 60, Calls For visionary leadership

October 5, 2020
in People

With celebrations across Nigeria to mark it’s 60th Independence Anniversary, the President and Founder of Sam Nwachukwu Foundation, a renowned  Philanthropist from Abia State, Hon. Sam Nwachukwu  is seeking for more visionary leadership in the country for a better and stronger people and economy.

This is even as he sued for concentration in humanitarian interventions and activities to support underprivileged persons, especially during challenging times.

In a statement made available to newsmen,  Nwachukwu noted that Nigeria is a nation blessed with unlimited resources from God but lacks vision
” Our greatest undoing is poor, vision less leadership which has failed to take advantage of these God given gifts to build a virile, progressive nation.” He said

He also stated that the Independence celebration should also be a moment of sober reflection on those who may have no reason to celebrate, as they are yet unsecured, especially in areas of survival, safety and health.

He called on government,  organizations and individuals  to see the 60th Independence Anniversary as a time to retrace our footsteps and focus on people oriented projects to achieve uniformity in our national growth and progress.

Hon. Nwachukwu however noted that his foundation will not relent in its effort to continually consolidate supports for the emancipation of unprivileged Abians in particular from the sufferings and hardship they are faced with.
