PDP chieftain and former Aviation minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, have boasted that his region, the Yorubas’ voted massively for the defeated presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar than the Igbos.
Kayode said the Igbos’ didn’t vote massively for Atiku in-spite the facts that their son, Peter Obi was the running mate of the latter.
Recall that Atiku had lost the last Saturday election to President Muhammadu Buhari of APC. A defeat he is yet to concede.
In a recent tweet yesterday, Kayode said,
“In the 2019 pres. election South East gave Atiku Abubakar and Peter OBI 1.67 million votes whilst the South West gave the same Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi’s ticket a whooping 1.75million votes, notwithstanding that the geo-political region had no direct stake in that ticket”.
