The former Abia State governor, now senator representing Abia Central, Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji, has finally breaks silence why he visited the INEC headquarters in Umuahia, State capital on the election day (23rd, February 2019).
It could be recalled that Senator Orji stormed the INEC office during the election., a development which caused stir in social media – as many alleged he had went to bribe the INEC to give him victory in the just concluded general election.

The former governor predicted victory for his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the forthcoming governorship and state house of assembly elections in Abia.
Speaking further, Orji noted that he is a strong advocate of equity and justice, hence the overwhelming support he elicited at the poll.
He also said his plans to quit politics by 2023 still stands. Adding, he is doing so to give the young politicians chance to grow.
It could be recalled that Orji who made this promise while seeking for a second term said he would not renege on his words.
He said; “This is my last political outing in terms of elective positions. I have to make way for people to grow.
“If I don’t retire I will be denying young people the chance to grow. I will quit in 2023 so the young people can grow.
