As Nigerian youths continue the nationwide #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutalityInNigeria protest, Abia State youths are not exempted as the protest has taken over literally all parts of the country.
Mr. Lucky Igbokwe (aka) Don Lulu has called on Abia Youth to use the opportunity availed by the End SARS protest to also, demand for good governance from the Abia political class.
Making his point, Don Lulu, who doubles as the United Nations Mayor of Peace (MoP) said there is a lot to demand in Abia. According to him, “Abians already know how bad their situation is”.
He went further to list some of the things and why the protesters should demand for good governance.
He said in Abia;
- No infrastructural development.
- No jobs.
- No salary.
- No pension for our mothers and fathers.
- Zero good roads.
- No good school for our children.
- Zero medical care or facilities.
- Our governor goes to another state to get medical care while he leaves us to die in the state.
- No freedom of speech without being arrested and jailed.
- Voter suppression and election rigging.
- Fraudulent government that only takes care of their cronies.
Don Lulu while urging the Abia Youth to support the movement said “If you are tired of the dark state of Abia.. make you voice heard”.
Video here was recorded at the yesterday End SARS protests in Umuahia. Celebrities in Abia, the likes of J-Martins, Mr. Raw, Comedian Dauda, etc., were all involved in the protest.
