The Director General of World Trade Organisation, WTO, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala today met with Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This is the first time since his swearing in on May 29 the President has hosted the WTO DG in the State House.
Giving an update on their meeting, Mrs Okonjo-Iweala described Mr Tinubu as a President who is “focused on supporting poor and vulnerable Nigerians at this difficult time.”
She further revealed that they discussed the need for Nigerians to work together to build a strong job creating economy.
