The Chief of Army staff, LT. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, has warned Kidnappers, cattle rustlers, bandits and killer herdsmen that the military will be coming for them.
Buratai issued this warning while inspecting the special forces command Headquarters in Nasarawa state.
In furtherance of its determination to rid the nation, particularly the North Central States of Benue, Taraba and Nasarawa as well as parts of Kaduna state of the menace of killer herdsmen/militias, banditry, cattle rustling and kidnapping among others, the Nigerian Army has commenced construction of the headquarters of the Special Forces Command in Nasarawa State.
The army boss warned the criminal elements, to either retrace their steps or relocate as the Army would go after them even in their hideouts, with the take-off of the Special Forces Command HQ.
Recall that following a deadly killing spree by herdsmen and militia as well as attacks by marauding kidnappers, armed bandits and cattle rustlers, thousands of lives and property were lost in the zone, prompting the Nigerian Army to activate ‘Exercise Ayem Akpatuma’ (Operation Cat Race) which assisted in checkmating the criminal activities.
Bloody lying Nigerian Army … make it good.
