Bandits have released a second video of students abducted from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna state.
The first video of the abducted students was released on March 13.
Abacityblog.com had reported that in March, bandits attacked the college located in Igabi LGA and abducted the students, but 172 of them were rescued, leaving 39 in captivity.
Out of the 39 in captivity, 10 have regained their freedom after their parents negotiated with the kidnappers.
However, in a recent video which surfaced online on Tuesday, the students appealed to their parents and the government to facilitate their release.
One of the students, identified as Benson Emmanuel who appeared in the previous video, was also in the recent recording.
“Please, we are begging on our parents to please come and help us out of here. We have stayed here for days, we have not been eating, some us have been sick. Please, we’re begging our parents to come and help us out of here. We’re tired,” Emmanuel said in the video which was released on Tuesday.
Another student, who identified himself as Yahaya Paul, said: “Please, we are calling on our parents to help us, to come and take us out of here. They should try their best to [take] us out of here. We are suffering. Some of us are sick. We’ve not been eating well. Please, parents, help us so we can come out of this place.”
