The supporters of APC presidential aspirants, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and that of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo reportedly clashed in Abuja during the accreditation of the party delegates.
The All Progressive Congress, APC, presidential primaries will be held today at the Eagle Square Abuja. Right now, the party is accrediting the delegates that will vote in the primaries.
The delegate votes will determine who becomes the presidential candidate of the party in the 2023 presidential election.
A video footage shared by a Twitter user showed the moment Tinubu and Osinbajo’s supporters were exchanging words over the substitution of names of delegates at the International Conference Center, ICC, where accreditation is ongoing for National delegates of the APC.
According to reports, delegates of Tinubu are not being accredited at the ICC, and they’re unconfirmed reports Tinubu’s delegates might be shortchanged, which ensued the protest.
