President Muhammadu Buhari has finally addressed Nigerians on the widespread of COVID-19, a disease caused by Coronavirus.
The President address came after Nigerians demands he addressed the citizens as President of the nation and it’s in his obligation to speak hope into the citizenry in times like this.
Responding, the President in a short video shared by his Media aide, Bashir Ahmed, Buhari assured Nigerians that his administration has been working with [Federal] Ministry of Health on protecting the citizens from #COVIDー19, “as a government, this is now a key priority for us”, the President said.

Meanwhile, Nigeria has recorded a total number of 30 cases of COVID-19. The three new cases which made it up to 30 were in Lagos State.
According to Nigeria Central Disease Control, NCDC, “2 cases are returning travellers and 1 is a contact of a confirmed case”.
“As at 05:28 pm on the 22nd of March, there are 30 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with no deaths”, NCDC said.
