Despite the rain, youths in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital troop out en mass for two million March in support of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The street walk for Peter Obi has become a phenomenon in the recent times as youths had taken their solidarity from online to offline.
Prior to the start of street walk, millions of Nigerian youths had endorsed, Mr Obi, a former Anambra State governor and a successful businessman for president come 2023.
Obi who left the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the Labour Party, LP, has garnered organic support from mostly Nigerian youths which birthed the million man march.
Started in Nassarawa State, the street walk organised by the Obi’s supporters has taken place in Cross River, Imo, Rivers States and Benue State.
